My beloved pet that have died

In 2006 I moved from New York City to Florida, with my 4 cats & 3 dogs. Something about this state & the weather caused my animals to become sick. 2 dogs died in 2009 & I have just lost my beloved cats 3 of them one after the other the vet said well they were old & could not find anything wrong with them but in as fast as a week went from healthy to not be able to walk.
I now have had 5 animals whom I loved with my heart & soul pass away one is bad enough but 5 I just can't pull myself together Christopher was the last to go he died on 5/13/2011.
I cried my eyes out & still can not get out of this depression cause I just can't believe what happened after moving here, to my beloved animals.
I now enter my bedroom to look at memerial erns & saying hello to all of them but I still can't believe this happened. They were my best friends, I feed them the best food gave them home coked chiken & peas & carrots & bought the best dry food for them also only gave them bottle water, I still think that this Florida weather had something to do with their death.
Also in New York they were able to see sit at the window & we did not have the air-conditioning on all the time like here. I hope I can over come this feeling of loss cause 5 animals since 2009 is alot to bare.

 My heart breaks for you...

I'm wondering if it's environmental. Are you feeling sick at all? It just seems like too much of a coincidence. I can't imagine your grief. I wrote the story about my Rocky being killed by the dogs about 6 weeks ago. As bad as that was, Rocky was one cat, so your grief must be unbearable. It will get better, though, day by day... I got another Siamese kitten the day after Rocky was killed. They say not to do that until you are over your grief, but she has helped me so much through this. God bless you...

It is so hard to move with all your best friends, and then to lose them in such a unfinished way, not knowing why they were passing. I feel for you very much as I am a traveler who has lost many. I think you are right.. something may have been in the climate that they couldn't cope with. But, if there wasn't a long illness..it's very hard to know what to do. God Bless.. and when you think of them, remember how much you did for them & them for you. I don't think we completely come to peace with losing our animals but, one day at a time, is the only thing that seems to make sense to me. I've lost my dad, my husband, my house moved 1500 miles with 10 animals, and just lost the youngest, my Cooper to a very freak accident in the house. I am treading deep water, and see now others are too. Best to you... you will survive... and I believe seriously in the Rainbow Bridge....

I feel your Grief. Crystal my Persian died on the 31 January this year, I have cried everyday since.
I miss her very much. I know what you are feeling.
Crystal was 18 and 3 months old.

 Our beloved animals, our best friends

Dear Jan,

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's so very difficult to lose one pet let alone so many in such a short time. I have a border collie named Angus and did have 4 other cats up until 2 years ago. Toby was the last one. He was diagnosed with kidney disease in January 2009, but outside of loosing weight, hen did quite well. He was a real snuggler and Angus' best buddy. Angus is 11 and Toby was 14. My husband who had been very healthy was diagnosed last August 10 with Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma lung cancer, but by the time they found it, the cancer had already metastisized to his pelvis, lower lumbar and hip.

Toby was so precious, he stayed with my husband all the time, snuggling in his lap or on the arm of the chair. Animals just simply know when we're not well and they hang in there with us.

Bob passed away last October 31 and I had to put Toby to sleep on January 4th of this year. He seemed to just give up after Bob passed away.

I'm not writing this to depress you or bring you down, it's just that animals are so very precious to us, that when we loose them, it's almost as difficult as losing a human companion.

Jan, It sounds like your 4 legged furry fur balls, had a wonderful home, with' lots of love. Know that your in my thoughts as you take this difficult journey. Have you ever read rainbow bridge? I like to think that all out animals are waiting for us on the other side.

Animals are God's gifts to us, I'm sure when the time is right, he will bring another little one into your life to love and care for.
