My Best Friend

by alli
(winnsboro, la)

Not only did I lose My Momma I lost The Best Friend I ever had! She lost her battle with cancer January 10, 2010 at 1:08 a.m. She was so sick for 4 months, and so tired, and I knew the end was coming but I wasn't ready to accept it. I lost 2 people in 1. The mornings are the worst, we talked every morning. I still reach for the phone every morning.

my beautiful mum
by: kim

I lost my beautiful mum and my best friend in the world on 8th feb 2010; my mum got lung cancer one year ago. She had treatment, went in remission for 8 wks only, November it came back very aggressive, then my mum caught pneumonia at Christmas.

My mum suffered so much towards the end, it's such a relief and release for us that my wonderful mum isn't suffering no more. We were together all the time I loved her so much. It's so difficult to move forward, but I know how much she loved me and my young children, my mums strength is helping me to do just that.

I KNOW YOUR PAIN

I feel and know your pain at this moment because I lost my mom to breast cancer on the 28th february 2009 and that is on my birthday. It's nearly a year now and it is fresh as a rose!... believe me not a day goes by with out me missing her , I cry most of the time because we found out she had breast cancer in January 2009, and just a few weeks after, she died. I had loved my mom so much , we did everything together but GOD had better plans for and I know that she's in a better place now..

Your mom

I am very sorry to hear that you lost your dear mother. I realize it has to be one of the hardest things a person can go through. She was tired and went to be with the Lord and is safe now, free from pain. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time. It sounds like you had a wonderful closeness with her, so she must have been a great lady. God bless you and keep you.
