My Dad is gone

by synthia
(san leandro)

I lost my dad November 8th, 2010
He fought a very long battle with several
health issues. Still this is not easy.
I feel so overwhelmingly sad. At his funeral
I wanted to scream "you can't put him in that hole!"
That's all I see when I close my eyes. It's really hard.
Some people don't understand why I don't just move on. It's too new. I feel like I will be sad forever.

FOREVER PAIN
by: Anonymous

It makes no difference how old you are, losing a parent is painful forever. I've lost both my parents and I am so alone. But I will be with them soon. Before you can believe that a parent has passed away, then you witness them being
placed in the earth and that's just so final.
We chose to have a committal service, for both my parents. They are already buried and flowers adorn their resting place when the family arrives at the cemetery. That's a little easier, if anything about this is easier. Bless you.
