My dad was is and always be my hero he passed away in 2008 he had a massive stroke and a massive heart attack at the same time on June 9,2008. before June 9, 2008 I would see him and my mother everyday or if I couldn't make it to their house I would call a few times everyday. I was at work when my mother called me told me my dad was at the hospital that he had a stroke we hadn't found out about the heart attack yet. I have written something on here then for my dad under the same title my dad he was my heart and soul and everyday is hard. My dad passed in 2008 but now it is 2014 and I still feel like I did then I don't think there is a day when I don't think about him I still cry because he is not here. I JUST LOVE HIM SO MUCH HE WAS AND IS STILL AN AMAZING MAN TO ME AND ALWAYS WILL BE.

My dad passed away in 2005 and my heart still breaking too. I understand what you are going through. I was daddy's little girl and then at age 22 I had to bury him. Even though it's been 9 years I still miss him and cry. I used to think grief had a time limit and it would get better. Simply it's not the case. ❤️

Dear Val,

I can relate to everything you write in your post, and I am so sorry that you lost your father. I also lost my father suddenly - he suffered cardiac arrest and was gone instantly in January 2013. Like you, I saw him daily, and spoke to him on the phone several times a day. Nobody understood me like my father did. Even after a year, I cannot believe that he is gone - there is so much that he has missed in this past year, so many milestones that his grandchildren have made, so many things I want to talk to him about. You are not alone, and I hope you can find some peace and comfort as you continue to heal. Barb
