I was young at the time when he died i would say i was about 6 but i do remember my father had heart problems and was then rushed into hospital for a pace maker but what really didn't help was he did like to drink and my dad and mum didn't really have the best relationship to be honest police was at the door nearly every night because of the violence of it.So i was not aloud to stay with my mum of her violence issues so i lived with my dad we did get along most of the time but the last few years of his life i dont really he enjoyed.its about 7 years ago now but i dont really know how he died but i was the only one in the house when i saw him their i was only six but i did phone the ambulance and tried my best to keep calm i already knew my daddy was really poly and he was quite old this is all i have to say now but i do have respect for people who have gone through the same things and i know how you must feel.

Sammy Jo I am sorry for your loss of your dad at such a young age it would be very hard to process all that was going on. You must be 13yrs. now and still so young to have to struggle to find memories or just any information to complete and carry on your history.
It is important if you have other relatives that you try hard to fill in those gaps of your young life. You may have to play at detective if only to gather information of your life. It is part of your history and important that relatives co-operate and other people your father knew who could fill in the gaps and you can build up a picture of the man who was your father. I can't begin to imagine how difficult your young life has been up to now and may still be. Please write back and give us more information about what is happening now in your life. Who is caring for you now? Do you have any siblings(brothers and sisters)? Is your mother still alive? How are you living at this moment? Any difficulties you have will be respected and I will try to help you by supporting you in your need. Best wishes.
