My father - August Lageman - 1920 to 2008

While he was ill, I helped him as much as I could. I managed his finances and assisted with his last wishes. Words can't describe how helpless I felt when I first saw him after he had died at the hospital. All of the machines that kept him going were turned off; the room was so quiet. He looked peaceful - of course, the pain and suffering were gone. I know I will feel better someday; but I won't rush it. He was my father and so important to me. I miss you so much Dad!
