My first love is Don,

by Pat Pierce
(Okla. City, Ok.)

Don and I met in December, and after 5 weeks we were married. We were married for 33 years. He was my soul mate and the love of my life. He have 5 children and I only have 2. I really do wish that we had one child together and I think it would be easier to go thru his passing. He been sick for a long time and we were expecting his death, but when it came, we weren't ready for it.

This is the most hard time in my life to go thru, I wish the feeling would just go away and have a normal and happy life again. For God did say to us that the mourning will find comfort. He will be the only one well take care of us. For Don was a great man to me and right now I have a void in my life without him.

God is good
by: Kelsy

I agree with you in how God said he will comfort us in our pain, if we trust in him to do so. im not going through the pain you're probably experiencing, but try to just lean on God a lot through these months and years, no matter what.

He is the one 'man' that won't ever leave you or hurt you and you can always go to him and to call on and say just help me sleep tonight.. it really helps me sometimes and i think maybe it'd be good to just turn your eyes towards him as much as you can for a long time so he can help you heal :) Just trust in him no matter what you see around you..

Psalm 20:2-3 'O lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me. O Lord you brought me up from the grave, you spared me from going down into the pit.'

Going thru the same
by: Debbie

My husband just passed on February 19th. I feel the same as you. We never had any children together, and that makes it harder. It's very difficult going thru this grieving process. The feeling will probably never go away, but with time we should feel better hopefully. I miss him so very much. You will be in my prayers. Take care and God Bless you and yours.
