My Fur Soul Mate, BamBam

by Natasha
(white salmon, wa)

....where does one begin, at the begging or the end? At this time, what would it matter. My precious Bammie, Mama had to
give you up, reluctantly, due to your profound condition....

Who was Bambam? An exquisite Black Leopard Bengal which I rescued
what seems, only days ago. But now, history is written and my little partner of twelve years is no longer with me in my arms to
sleep.

Bammmie, Mama misses you more than words can say, though she
is trying to be very PRESENT and ZEN about you, as a Buddha,
but the wound is much too deep, your absence much too great and]my ability to be a Buddha, close to impossible.

I am here with the remaining eight fur babies, all wondering
where you are, when you will come home. They know. I know.
Life will never be the same.

Gods speed Bambam....

Mama
