My Grandpas passing

by Daniel Fritsch
(Acworth, Georgia)

To start off, he was my grandfather on my Dad's side. I never really got to see him a lot, but there was nothing I could do about it. When I was told that he died I didn't know what to say or how to feel. I cried for a little but then just sat there in silence remembering all the fun times we had had together. Because, anyone in your life can die, just because they die, doesn't mean that your memories of them do. After sitting there remembering all of this, I began to feel better, because I know he's in a better place. I will always miss him, but the hardest part of loving someone, is having to say goodbye.
