My Irish

by Dawn
(WI)

Just checking back in with my widow club.I am so greatful to be a part of your lifes in this sad way. My husband died on feb 17th 2012 and i have been writing and reading with you. I guess I wanted to say that yes is does get Better and I cant believe I would ever say that. I know I am in for alot more of this fun house but a 2 week period of feeling a little better is so great for the soul. What pill did you take? you ask...nothing, just took some time to breathe some, and met up with some old friends and acually laughed...imagine that. I know that is in the future for all of you too.. I pray for peace for all of us

Yes I was happy for a little while and yes the funhouse mirrors changed and I am plunged back real far at this time. I just try to remember this should pass too. Went to see my Irish yesterday and couldnt stay or talk to him. Maybe soon

wishing you well

Hi Dawn, I lost my husband about 10 months ago, and, like you, I have been feeling a little better. I still have some very dark days(lots of crying) but not as often. Glad to hear that you are getting out with friends. Laugh as much as you can-it is good for the soul. Wishing you peace Joanne, Chicago
