My Little Toree

My "Little Toree" eighteen you would be
Graduating this year... I wish I could see

My "Little Toree" a young woman you would be
Do you still have red hair... I wish I could see

My "little Toree" at prom she would be
Dancing around in her wheelchair...I wish I could see

My "Little Toree" a singer she wanted to be
Are you singing in heaven...I wish I could see

My "Little Toree" on her computer she would be
Seven O'clock phone calls...I wish I could see

My "Little Toree" a proud sister you would be
To have my children together...I wish I could see

My "Little Toree" In Bruce's jeep you would be
Going to Grandma's on Friday's...I wish I could see

My "Little Toree" on the beach we would all be
Swimming in the pool...I wish I could see

My "Little Toree" drinking coke she would be
Gulping it down...I wish I could see

My "Little Toree" always positive she would be
Laughing & smiling...I wish I could see

My "Little Toree" teaching she would be
Her Doctor's and Family...I wish I could see

My "Little Toree" Mother's Day it will be
A new home made card...I wish I could see

My "Little Toree" Oh how I wish I could see
My beautiful little girl
Know one loves you more then me!!

Amy, You know how much I thought of Toree, I miss her emails so much. She was an inspiration to me.

Your poem was simply beautiful! Toree would be so proud of you for writing those beautiful words. She is up in Heaven and even though you can't feel it, her arms are always around you.

Dear Amy,
I am one of Tiffani's friends and just wanted to let you know I was so touched by the poem you wrote. Tiff spoke of her often and I know you all miss her greatly. My prayers and love go out to your family, time heals the heart a bit, and the love and warm memories will also soften the pain, but we always miss our loved ones that are gone. You wrote a beautiful poem.
