my lovely grandparents
(Liberty, Missouri, America)
A few years before I was born, my grandma was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, they didn't think she was going to live very long, so she told my mom that she wanted to have a kid. This is where I come in, I was her life, in fact, my dad thinks the only reason she kept fighting was because of me. After me, my brother and sister were born too, but you could obviously tell that she was partial to me, always wanting to spend every moment of free time with me she could. My grandpa was also not in very good shape, he had diabetics. Anyway, my grandma and grandpa loved each other so much, they couldn't live without each other. My grandma fought cancer for 14 years, and passed away when I was 12, I was there with her when she died, it was very peaceful, but anyway, they couldn't love without each other, so about a month later, we went to go visit grandpa, and he was sitting in his wheel chair, dead of. Heart attack, before they both died, they told each other that who ever died first would drop a Ronnie from heaven to tell the other that they had made it ok, and surely enough, a few days after my grandma died, grandpa found a Ronnie on the ground, so now, every time I see a Ronnie on the ground I am reminded of a lesson that they have taught me, be grateful for your family, and never keep fighting.
