My miss my dad so much

Let's start that I am a recovering addict of almost 3 years and lost my father november 18th of this year. I was taken him to the doctor once a week for a year, he had a sore on his toe, his a diabetic! Three days before I had to pick him up for the doctor I got the phone call that he past on. I have three older brothers, but me and one of my brothers were the one that handled all the funeral arrangements.. I know how proud he was of me being that he seen me sober!! I am going to miss him so much!!!! I am having a problem with this some! So I have to approach this total different! I can't drink it away, I know life for me keeps on!! Just it hurts so bad! When does this ever start gettin better? What's the steps I need to take to grieve it out the right way?
