My Mom, Anna Belle

by Don Truman Wilson

There is a profound sadness in my heart today. My mother, Anna Belle, died on Friday evening. She was the most courageous, loving, humble, caring, giving woman, I have ever known. She raised five children, four boys and one girl. To me, she was my 'Iron Lady'...

Nothing could ever prepare you for this loss. Losing a mother cuts to the very heart....

I know she is in heaven, but her physical loss is deep....

Don I am sorry for your loss of your mother. Nothing prepares us for losing our mom's husband's father's and any other close immediate member of our family.
The stronger the relationship the deeper the loss and pain from this loss.
Our mom's are our caregivers, and we develop a bond and it is the bond that causes the most profound pain in our hearts that HURTS so bad. My mom died 9 years ago and I am only feeling this loss now since I lost my husband from cancer 5 months ago. Often we don't grieve certain losses and then when another loss comes it will trigger off other losses and add to our grief and pain.
In time you will grieve and move on with your life and become stronger from the love you had in your family. But you need to grieve and take time for yourself.
