my mum my best friend

by lynda graham
(scotland)

I lost my mum 3 weeks ago. It's the worst feeling in the world. I've never felt like this before.
It was so sudden, she was only 63 and had a major heart attack.

I look for her every day, I feel it's not really happened she just is on holiday and coming back to us.

Even I went to the hospital and the funeral parlor.

people say it gets better, I don't think it can possibly get better when you've lost so much.

Time brings more feelings/emotions...
by: Mr. Dana Rutherford

...You undoubtedly will experience more happenings over the next month or so, that may feel 'wierd' at times, but in my mind, it's all worth it in order to heal through grief more readily.

Have you made a small 'sanctuary' for your "Ma"
where you can quietly grieve with her alone? Maybe with pictures/trinkets?? I had a memorial candle specially made for my "Ma", which I sure wish she could see!! My little honorarium helps me for a brief few minutes every night, as I cry over my loss selfishly.... Please write back and tell us more of your post-lost activities. Thanks so much. Keep in touch!!
Dana
