Sammie I am so sorry for your loss of your Nan. She was still so very young. Lung cancer is a horrible disease to live with and is almost always terminal due to the lungs being an area of the body which is hard to diagnose. My husband had his aggressive lung cancer for over 3yrs. His cancer was terminal as he got this through working with asbestos. A killer of a substance in the workplace not known as a dangerous material. It is a an inoperable, and incurable cancer. Our Health service is declining and even the basic services are struggling. I don't know what the future holds for any of us with our medical care. If you find yourself struggling with grief try CRUSE bereavement services. They will give you good support and help you move forward better. Sometimes one can become stuck in grief and it is prolonged and goes on forever. It is then you know you would need support.
I hope you have good supportive family and friends to help you through your grief.
