9 days have passed the sadness of not ever seeing my sister again is painful. Her funeral is friday we shall give her a good send off. She will never be forgotten. I look through all my pictures of her and this give me great comfort. I am making a dvd of her life to help ease the pain. I can watch it to remind me of all the happy events in her life.

Steve I am so sorry for your loss of your sister Carolyn to cancer. As I have said often Cancer has become the new FLU. Cancer is claiming the lives of so many people almost like an epidemic. I lost my husband Steve of 65yrs. to cancer almost 5 months ago. Steve worked with asbestos and he died of lung cancer due this deadly substance. We were married 44yrs. Steve was robbed of his retirement. Your sister Carolyn will have already retired and probably looking forward to her retirement but sadly this cancer also robbed her of a life she earned.
You will be in the early stages of your grief and I wish you Peace and Comfort from Your grief, sorrow, and Pain of your loss.
