My Wonderful Dad

by Bruce Luttrull
(Riverside CA.)

Dad you were always there for me. Before i became a dad i always thought, when i become a dad i hope i can be just like you! I really miss you and all the things we did together. But then i realize how lucky i was to have you in my life for as long as i did. I remember all our camping trips to Lake Hemet. We couldnt afford to rent a motorboat so we rented a rowboat. I also remember how you wanted to hit different hotspots on the lake which meant alot of rowing and BIG blisters. What id give today to have those blisters back!!! We'd catch our limit and go into camp to drop off our fish and go back out to catch more fish. And then came the fun them. You were so fast and patient when showing me how to do it. When i came home from school one day with a handout to sign up for little league and told you i wanted to be a professional baseball player when i grew up, you were very supportive of me fulfilling my dream. I only made it to single-A but i know you were so very proud of me. As i got older we joined a bowling league. that was so much fun! I MISS YOU SO MUCH DAD!!! I hope theres life after death so we can pick up where we left off. I LOVE YOU DAD !!!!
