Nanette I am sorry for your loss of your dad to cancer. I know you miss him and this death has hurt you so deeply. I am from Scotland and know how close knit the Scots are. I hope they surround you with support. This Cancer disease is a destroyer of families.
My husband died 8 months ago from lung cancer caused by working with asbestos. His cancer was incurable, inoperable, and aggressive. He was 65yrs. He didn't even get the chance to enjoy any retirement. I was in DENIAL and didn't want to know how long my husband had to live. I found it too painful to know the facts. I couldn't bear the thought of losing him. Living ALONE now hurts more and more each day without him. It is such a CRUEL way to have to live now.
I wish you Peace and Comfort in your Sorrow and Grief and loss of your Dad.
