Never forgetting Emily...

by Melissa
(England)

My friend emily died of a brain tumour on the 28th january 2011 (when she was 2 weeks from being 14) that is more than a year ago now but to me it was only yesturday. I wish i could have died instead of her but i know that can't happen. Me and two other friends have started raising money for the hospice she is in, so I guess some good is coming out of this disaster.

Apparantly her mum is scared that people are going to forget emily. In my opinion anyone who has lost a friend or family member will never forget them, it could be 2,5,10,20 or 50 years but this is a moment of my life that will change me for a lifetime.

Apparently, there is a theory that people only die when there is nothing left for them to learn on earth. Emily was the kindest, person I will/have ever met. She didn't have anything left to learn so she went to live in peace... <3

Thank you for reading.

Never forgetting Emily......

Melissa I am sorry for your loss of your friend Emily.
Not every theory is correct. Some are what you call "Old wives Tales." Just that.
We each of us I believe has a life Span that only God knows. God Heals people if it is His Will to, whilst others will die. WE will continue to learn all the time from Life and from our environment, and from each other. This ceases when we die. I should hope that we don't die because we have nothing more to Learn. We certainly have a lot of questions to ask God when we meet.
