One Year On

by Denise Gray
(Norwich, England)

A year's gone by
and still we grieve
our pain it does not go
we miss you just as much today
as we did a year ago.
Just one more hug
just one more kiss
just to hear you speak again
to see your happy, smiling face
would help to ease the pain
but just one day wouldn't be enough
we all want so much more.
So if there is another place
for us all to meet again
wait patiently for us all to come
and be a family once again.
For my loving Dad.

one year on

My father died almost 3 yrs ago after fighting cancer for 13 yrs.It took so long that we began to believe he would be here for longer.I am a very religious person and I do believe we will meet again. I hope you can come to that feeling also.It is what gives me hope and the strength to carry on.You see,my mom followed him in 7 months from grief and my husband died in May 2011.I have to believe in seeing them again.I JUST HAVE TO. I send you prayers and love and ask GOD to send you strength.
