Our little Butterfly--Aggie

Aggie was our biggest joy...She was always a happy and sassy little dog. We've had her for 11 short years and was hoping for many more...about a month age we got the news the she had cancer the vet gave her 2 weeks to 2 months because of it's location, it was inoperable...She was still full of life and loving to the end. When her breathing became labored and difficult we knew it was time to say good by. It's the hardest thing a pet owner can do. My husband is a big burly guy and he cried like a baby (right along beside me)..That's how much she will be missed.

I sometimes forget she is gone and will sit on the couch the way she liked so she could sit on one of my legs and the other one wrapped around her .. I often felt like a pretzel but she liked it and she was the boss ..Our hearts were broken that day but we have a lot of wonderful memories of our little girl with the big personality.

MY LEE-LEE
by: beverly

MY MINI DOXIE WAS LEE-LEE. SHE WAS 7 YRS OLD WHEN SHE WENT TO HEAVEN. IN THREE SHORT WEEKS SHE WAS GONE. I KNOW EXACTLY HOW YOU ARE FEELING. MY PAIN IS SO DEEP, IM WONDERING IF I WILL EVER REGAIN JOY. I CAN'T BEAR THE MOMENTS, NUMEROUS TIMES A DAY, THAT I CRY OVER LEE-LEE. SHE CAPTURED MY HEART AND SOUL. I PRAY SO OFTEN FOR GOD'S HELP. I AM DEEPLY SORRY FOR YOUR AGGIE, AND I WANTED YOU TO KNOW I FEEL YOUR PAIN ALSO.

Roxanne I am sorry for your loss of your dog Aggie. What sadness and pain is left behind when losing a Pet.
Our pets bring such love and joy in a different way from People. The loss of their presence in the home is felt so strongly. I cried and cried when I lost a pet. I thought I would never recover. I would phone my husband up at work and told him to make a box for burial. he was a carpenter. I lost him 15 months ago to cancer and I don't keep pets now. I love them from afar. The pain is too much to bear at the moment. But a pet does bring such comfort and strength. A dog is what my daughter wants. But I am not ready yet. I wonder if I will ever be ready?
My sister has a Westie and he has gone blind now and has cancer and other difficulties to deal with. I am facing this pain with her and it hurts as if He was my dog. He is adorable. She is dreading the day she loses him. So am I.
