On Oct. 9, 2012 I lost my sister to cancer, on Nov. 28, 2012 my son passed suddenly, Jan 21 2013 my brother passed of cancer, spring of 2013 my daughter (only surviving child)went through 6 mths of pre cancer treatments. In Jan 2013 my father was diagnosed with terminal cancer and as of Jul 2014 ,my mother-in-law is battleing cancer as well.
Althoug I am in therapy, I feel like I'm going crazy!!!! My mother-in-law looks to be pulling through, and I am very happy for that, but my sadness from losing 4 others in my family in 1 1/2 years is overwhelming.....

Paulette I am so sorry for all the losses of family from your life in such a short space of time. Life is so very difficult, but when you start losing close family in multiple loss it can throw you off balance. Therapy will help you. I did this some years ago and I am in a better place now.
I lost my husband of 44yrs. to a deadly cancer 2yrs. ago and I know how bad the cancer battle is and the grief journey now. Had I not had therapy some years ago I doubt if I would have coped so well. But under the circumstances I still could not function for 6 months. I had to nurture myself back into life. The best way forward for any of us is ONE DAY AT A TIME. This is the only way I can still cope today.
You have lost 2 children and this is enough to make any mother feel she is going crazy with grief. I have 3 Adult children and could not bear to lose any one of them. If I did I know I would never recover.
I pray that God bring you His comfort and Peace and that you come through your therapy and be in a more solid and stable place.
