Poo Bear

by Sara S
(Lansing, MI)

Black Jack was his given name but he was my jacky-poo and my poo-bear. I rescued him when he was 9, his owners were going to put him down just because they were getting a divorce. We finally euthanized him last night 3-23-2011 because he no longer wanted to eat or pass food. It was his time, after all he was almost 15 years old-which is old for a black lab. He was the most loving and caring friend/ pet i have even had. And he was there for the up's and down's of life always greeting me with a smile and wagging butt. I know he is in doggie heaven smiling down on me and playing fetch with the big guy in the sky.

Thank you Sara, Your message about Poo Bear helps me. I miss my Mimi with all my heart and soul. She too has blessed me with happiness and I spoiled the hell out of her.

Hang in there

I'm sorry for your loss. I too had to put down my Honey, 2-24-11. Check out the poem titled "Rainbow Bridge".
