Sascha

Well, Where do I begin... I guess in the beginning... I bought the best dog in the world named Sascha 10 years ago, October 21, 2000, from a lady who was selling pit bulls. The reason I picked her was because all the other puppies came up to the gate to greet me and a friend, but not Sascha; she was pooping in the back corner (lol), thats when I knew she was the one for me.

When she was a puppy, she chewed everything, like most puppies do. Sascha was original though, she chewed a hole in my wall and in my sofa! It was the cutest thing and I kept the sofa, because she would hide and sleep in it, and every time I came home she would poke her little cute head out.

Sascha was a very devoted partner for me, she looked at me with love in her eyes, you could see it. Sascha always stared at me and wanted to always be by my side. Sascha was more than a pet, she was my heart!! I'll never forget her :)

On January 12, 2010, Sascha went to be with the Lord, she was suffering from cancer and a heart murmur level 5. I could tell something was wrong with her because of her breathing, and she wouldn't eat anything. The night before, she laid by me and I told her I loved her sooooooooo much, over and over again.

I knew she was suffering and didn't want to leave me, but I took her to the vet to put her to sleep. Before they did anything, she looked at me with her beautiful eyes and passed away. I kissed her many times and told her that I will see her soon in heaven, to look for me. It's only been one day and my heart is broken, but at least I know she is no longer in pain!!! :)

To my darling Sascha, you will never be forgotten I LOVE YOU ALWAYS AND FOREVER!!!!!

I Miss Her

I can't stop thinking of my baby. I miss her soooo darn much, it hurts every day. I'm trying to get past this but it so hard.

Well, I've been keeping myself busy with work and other activites! plus I stay strong for my other dog Genesis who is 8 and grew up with my loving Sascha. Gen keeps me going and when the time is right I will get her a new friend! To my baby Sascha, mommy never forgets about you and loves you with all her heart. Rest in peace my love........Mommy

It's been almost a month, and it probably feels like 4 days. I hear ya! Keep yourself busy doing things that makes you think of other things. If you have friends that "understand", spend time with them. Time is the key, therefore, time is the enemy. You must pass time. How much time we need is different for each of us, I suppose.

I lost my Mr. Lucky, (Yogi the Bear), on Oct. 12th, 2009, and it seems like 2 weeks ago. It's not easy. Because I'm alone now, doesn't help any. Read a lot of the pages on this website.
They seem to help me a little.

Make a DVD slide show. Make it long, use alot of pictures and reuse pictures if you don't have alot. Make it a great slide show! Spend a lot of time on it. Making it will help! Then you can watch it over and over. Write to others on this website (like I am now). It helps and it occupies time. If you are young, consider getting another dog to share your love with, it won't be the same, but it will help.

There's a lot of critters who need and want to be loved, and will return your love with big sloppy kisses. Good luck to you. Here's To "Sascha" !!

Taking it a day at a time

Every day thoughts running in my head about my beautiful Sascha... I still have a lot of pain, but it is getting easier i hope????? I just miss her sooooo darn much it hurts my heart. Well my love Sascha, hope u are at peace with everything in heaven!! Mommy loves you so very much. :)

Understanding

I know how very hard your days are. I feel so bad for you. I feel the same way about this loss of my dog Mr. Lucky (Yogi the Bear) and it's now been 3 months and 2 days. He should be here with me. I miss him sooo very much.

We cry together. You and I. I hope you have someone to help comfort you. I don't. My wife died last Easter. I think this would be easier with her here. But she's not. I loved them both soo very much.

Today was another day and still the pain is hard. I remember every moment with my beloved Sascha. She was so lively and wonderful to all she was around. You couldn't help but love her!!!!!! Sascha my love good night and i miss you dearly and love you very much!!!!!!

Today has been hard, as it should be. I'm just taking it a day at a time! Sascha my love ......... you will always be in my heart forever! I love you and hope that you are in a wonderful place where you are not in pain, and don't worry, mommy is taking care of Genesis (that was her partner ever since they were babies). we all love and miss you! Good night my love......... :)

Sascha was the cutest puppy, and she was such a great dog. She used to play with my daughter when she was really young and Sascha was so good to her. My daughter would sit on her and tug on her ears and tail and sascha would just lay there and take it lol. She was really sweet and smart and we will all miss her very much.

I feel your pain ! As I too lost my dog recently, and know exactly how you feel.
I wish I had the right words for you, to make the pain go away. But I don't. Here is a nice poem, that may aid you a wee little. Good luck.

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet
goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special
friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water
and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals that had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor.
Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we
remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy
and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special
to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops
and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body
quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green
grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet,
you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy
kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and
you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from
your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

The best dog ever

I had a dog Barn that we put to sleep 10-12-09. He was the first thing I saw home from the hospital when I was born. He always liked to sleep on my jeans that were on the floor in my room at night. He was a great dog inside the house. And, he also loved to go outdoors and hike. We had the best dog ever.

Sascha was the cutest puppy & was super smart!! She could even jump the 6 foot fences just to go visit the dogs next door..then Magnum would run and tell on her. (lol) Sascha had a long, happy and painless life. She was a great pet and will never be replaced.
