The Waltz

It was difficult for me to leave you,
but, the choice I made was right.
I will always be right next to you,
come morning, day and night.
I am dancing once again with Elmo,
waltzing around heaven’s floor.
I couldn’t have been happier to see him
at the opening of Heaven’s door.
There were so many people
that met me at the gate,
including God, my Lord and Savior
at whose table I have ate.
I understand that my leaving you,
is difficult for you to bear,
I see and hear your tears of mourning,
I see you everywhere.
Be happy in your lives,
be loving in your ways
and if you really need me,
just fold your hands and pray.
