To the sweetest cat that ever lived.

The best present my dad could have ever gotten me
Callie. What a joy you has been throughout our lives in your short but long 17 years on this earth. My dad brought you home from one of a job for my 7th birthday, and to be completely honest I loved you from the moment I saw you because I was 7 and you were mine, but she was the most hideous thing I and my mother had ever seen. We took her to the vet, and she had everything under the sun wrong with her. We weren't ever sure she was going to live, but boy did she blossom into a beautiful kitty. The sweetest pet anyone could have ever asked for. When you were petting her and stopped, she would reach her little paw out and pull your hand back down so you would continue. She never really wanted anything from you, if you pet her, she craved more, but if not, she was perfectly content just laying around. Her last few days were rough to deal with. She has lost an extreme amount of weight and basically just withered away. So badly did I not want you to go, but I didn't want you to suffer anymore. My parents had had dogs throughout my life, and before I was born, but you was mine. You were my first pet, so this is the first time dealing with heartbreak like this. I hope that God takes wonderful care of you while you are at the rainbow bridge waiting. I love you so much and will miss you everyday. There is a piece of me that is missing and will never be replaced. I hope that we gave you the best life we possibly could. I love you sweet baby.
