Tough Beyond Measure

by M & L

Our 20-year-old son died instantly in an auto accident about a month ago. He was such a positive life force in our lives (and the lives of so many others) and doing well in college and in his service to his community. The pain seems almost unbearable, and we know that there will be years more of grieving his loss. The worst part is imagining a future that we cannot share with him. We are people of faith, but we struggle with the magnitude of the loss.

I am so sorry to hear about your son. I am also a person of faith and my 29yo precious was murdered nearly two years ago. I have been through so many roller coaster rides I could not begin to tell you. I pray that they will find who killed my daughter. Heather was funny, sweet, kind, very forgiving and a Christian. I hope you find some peace in the coming years, and until then join the rest of us taking one breath, one step, then one day at a time. That is literally how I have had to go through this process. God Bless Your Family
