Tramp 3/12/87 - 3/27/05

by Christine Nazario
(Chicago IL USA)

Tramp at 17-years-old

Tramp at 17-years-old

I adopted Tramp (Cocker Spaniel) when he was 10-weeks-old. Although I had dogs growing up, he was my first dog as an adult that I had on my own. I was going through a particularly difficult time in my life and he really helped me through it. My mother always said, "he was your saviour".

As I moved through that challenging time in my life and moved back to my home state of Illinois, Tramp and I went every where together. I met a man who loved Tramp as much as I did and we married. Tramp lived a long healthy life and because of him, I have become invovled with Cocker Rescue and have fostered Cocker Spaniels, adopted Cockers and have volunteered my time to rescues. I am able to give back to this magnificent breed what Tramp gave to me.

God Bless you Tramp, and mom and dad love you always.
