I don't remember him. But everytime I see kids with their dads or hear about someone's dad I realize how unfair it all is. He died on the same day as the only grandpa I ever knew and left me with no men nonetheless positive male role-models in my life. I don't remember a single thing, only what I hear about and see in pictures.

Olivia I am sorry for your loss of your dad. It is UNFAIR when you lose your dad and you have lost all the role models in life to help in your development and nurturing. Often this leaves a very painful wound in people. It sounds as if death has done this to you. Left you lonely and desperately crying out for a father figure to help you in life. Perhaps you have an uncle or other male role model who may be able to help you here. It must be painful to see others with their fathers carrying on with normal life whilst you are struggling. I hope in time that someone may come your way and just lift you out of your sorrow.
