Wrigley's journey

Wrigley was my first service dog as I have been wheelchair bound for 27yrs. He was by my side for nine and a half years during that time the life's he touched was unbelievable! Its only been 12 days since we had to say goodbye I'm now not only heartbroken but beyond lost without him. Been a huge animal lover my entire life but have never experienced a bond like his and I, he brought smiles to faces everywhere we went, and more importantly took the eyes off me as people can be very rude with their stares and comments when it comes to people with disabilities. He lived a amazing life and I am so grateful to have been a part of it.

It still hurts
by: Maria

Some people say 'it's only a dog' how wrong can they be. Dogs worm their way into our very souls and become that one thing you know you can depend on, just like you and Wrigley. When we lose them it hurts just like the loss of a loved one. My heart and hugs go out to you xxxxxxxxxx
